AAC tags on iPod incorrect

02/11/2008 - 00:16 von DaveC | Report spam
I converted MP3 files to audiobook files and transferred them to my iPod
Touch via iTunes.

When viewed in iTunes, the titles are "Adventures Part 1", "Adventures Part
2", etc. When viewed on the iPod (Music>Audiobooks) the entries are "Part 61
of 100", "Part 84 of 100", etc.

I can't see in iTunes where this latter description is used so that I can
change them. When I click on each of the entries in iTunes and press Cmd-I,
the proper titles ("Adventures Part 1", etc.) are used there.

How can I change these titles so that they are correct on the iPod?

Thanks,
DaveC

You may be able to change the incorrect information by right-clicking on
each file in Windows Explorer (if you are using Windows, that is), then
choosing Properties and selecting the Details tab. If you're using a Mac
(as suggested by the cross-post addresses), then I don't know how to help
you, sorry.
