Acrobat reader not found

22/11/2008 - 12:07 von Alain Dekker | Report spam
Hi,

Sorry to post in English, I couldn't find a current English newsgroup for
ie7-related questions.

I'm using:
IE 7.0.5730.131S

Whenever I click on a PDF link I get this error:

Acrobat plug-in.

Could not find Adobe Acrobat.

OK

but if I download the document then open manually, it all works fine. Any
ideas?

Vielen dank,
Alain Dekker

I don't know this version, Google can find only one reference apart from
your posting.

Switch on Web Integration in Adobe. You seem to have installed the Acrobat
(editing) product. There is a well known history of problems with this
product and the reader if they are installed in parallel. Remove the reader.
Or you may have removed Acrobat, but the add-on didn't get removed. As I'm
not you I don't know ...
