can I get the text to scroll upwards in mid-screen?

Hello,
As a translator it is a real pain that the text in Word doesn't scroll
upwards until the bottom of the screen because it means I have to scroll down
with the mouse to see the rest of the sentence I am translating.
Is it possible to set the scrolling point to the middle of the screen so
that I can see the entire German sentence I am translating without constantly
having to take my hands off the keyboard?
Thanks for your help

I don't know of any way to change the default scrolling behavior in Word
(I've certainly never seen anything in the UI). Possibly there is a
VBA solution, but it sounds pretty complicated (the gurus in the .vba
groups would know more).

When translating, I suggest you work in Normal view (zoom size to your
liking, and tell Word to break the text to window width). You will still
have to scroll, but that way, you see as much as possible/sensible (and
you don't need to be concerned about formatting when translating or
proofreading, anyway).
