cifs mount

Hi,

I'm "just" trying to mount a samba share but I'm having serious problems
getting rights with my user:
My mount point: /mnt/Y looks like:
~> drwsrwxrwx 2 reg users 4096 2007-08-24 09:26 Y
when the share is not mounted.
Then I mount it with:
# mount -t cifs '//192.168.0.101/disk 1' /mnt/Y -o gid=users,uid=reg
then it looks like this (and I don't have any rights as "reg"):
~> drwxrwxr-x 32 502 501 0 2007-08-24 12:25 Y
where is group 502 and user 501 coming from and how can i map this to users
& reg?
Using a system with kernel 2.6.18
Thanks for your help!
Ron

The Option "-o gid=users, uid=reg" is possibly ignored.

Try the correct syntax:
mount [-fnrsvw] [-t vfstype] [-o options] device dir
