Compiz

I run 11.1 and 11.2. on a Gigabyte ga-ma790fxt-ud5p board, and Nvidia
GE-9600 GT video card. The lcd monitor has 1920 x 1024 resolution.

Both work fine except for COMPIZ. The screen breakes up if I enable
compiz and move a window or click the mouse.

Desktop : Gnome
Video driver: x11-video-nvidia-G02 190.53.1 (x86_64)

Any one knows a fix?

Did You take the proprietary driver from the Nvidia site

NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-190.53-pkg2.run (and let it compile on console)

- which IMHO would be the best choice for 3d desktop effects -
or the one from the openSUSE repositories?

openSUSE 11.2
KDE 4.3.5 "release 3"
