[gentoo-user-de] Mount usb-harddisk at startup

22/11/2007 - 09:20 von Sebastian Meisel | Report spam
Hallo,

I have a usb-harddisk attached to my desktop computer and would like to
mount it, at boottime.
What is the best way to do it. I thought about inittab.

The disk is alway attached and the partitions get always the same
devicenames:

/dev/scd[1-3]

Thank's for any hints

fstab is the right place. However, I would let HAL/DBUS take care of the
job.

Bye...
