Hello sorry for posting such a lame question , if i should be writing this
in another section please tell me. I have installed open suse linux 10.3
and i am having trouble installing my graphics card , My card is a GeForce
420MX (nvidia) I download the file but the install instructions tell me to
set the runlevel to 3 so Xwin is not running and then recommends using YaST
to install the package. Ive only used YaST from the KDE desktop which
obviously isnt there at run level 3. So how do i install this from the
command line ie:- what command do i use and what paths to the file ive
dloaded from the mozilla browser ? I have tried 4 times and had to
re-install 4 times :(

Hello,

if you have the driver from nvidia has received, then go in initlevel 3.
then use as root the commend
# sax2 -r
If the driver works correct, then can you follow the instructions on
screen. Yast is possible, but only in a ascii version in initlevel 3.

Greetings
Juergen
