How to switch off kate highlighting

05/09/2008 - 11:17 von Josef Moellers | Report spam

I use kate (2.5.8 (Using KDE 3.5.8) on Kubuntu 6.10) to keep track of my
daily work (as some kind of log).
I just keep those files open that reflect my current projects and so I
can just quickly scan what state each project is in and what needs to be
done next.

However, every time I (re)start kate, it thinks it has to apply
highlighting to my log files, even if I have disabled it for these files.

Is there a way to globally disable highlighting for kate?

These are my personal views and not those of Fujitsu Siemens Computers!
