I/O error dev sda

Hallo!

Seit gestern macht eine noch recht neue SATA-Festplatte in meinem lokalen
Dateiserver Probleme. Sie làsst sich nicht mehr mounten
und /var/log/messages zeigt stàndig I/O error beim Zugriff auf bestimmte
Sektoren der Platte. fsck stellt ebenfalls Dateisystemfehler fest.

Ich habe daraufhin versucht, das Dateisystem der Platte mit --rebuild-tree
wiederherzustellen, allerdings schlàgt das bei immer dem selben Block
ebenfalls mit I/O Error fehl.

Mich interessiert nun vorallem, ob es ein Hardwarefehler sein kann oder ob
sich lediglich das Dateisystem verabschiedet hat. Laut smartctl ist die
Platte an sich nàmlich in Ordnung. Aber vielleicht ist es ja auch ein
Problem mit dem Kabel oder dem Controller ...

Hier noch ein paar Daten zum System:
- Pentium 3 System mit Intel BX440 Chipsatz
- Silicon Image Sil 3512 SATA-Controller
- SATA-HD: Samsung HD103UJ
- Gentoo mit Kernel 2.6.25-gentoo-r7
- udev 124-r1

Ausgabe von smartctl sowie /var/log/messages hànge ich unten dran. Hoffe das
reicht an Informationen.

Ach so, Dateisystem ist ReiserFS. Reiserfsprogs 3.6.19-r2 wurden zur Wartung
des Dateisystems verwendet.
