krunner / widget systemtray

Hello, all.

I have two problems, which might connect to each other?:
- when I halt the system, I get the message 'krunner crashed', and alt F2
for the commandline does not work :-(
- when I start the computer the widget systemtray is very small, the four
icons are on top of each other? Removing and reinstalling the widget helps.
But restarting the system gives the same result.

I have already tried to rename .kde4, without result.
Who can help me?
Ed

Which exact version of KDE are you using?

Are there other plasmoids installed in the panel, that do not leave enough
space for the systray? Maybe you can move them a little bit aside?

Is the panel sized to 100% of the screen width? Or just less with automatic
enlarging if needed? I had some problems with the later functionality, too,
and did set the panel to a fixed (in my case) height.

With some luck the sizing behaviour of panel plasmoids will become better
with KDE4.3. So perhaps you would like to wait the 2 or 3 weeks?

Greetings,
Arno
