More weirdness

When I enable USB in BIOS for DOS legacy devices, grub comes up with
error -22. If I disable it grub is fine. Any explanations?

I was troubleshooting why my USB keyboard was not being enabled by BIOS
on bootup, though it was enabled by OpenSuSE just fine.

It was giving me problems of even getting into BIOS at all.

Probably, your BIOS' device numbering changes, with USB drives moving in
front of your builtin disks. GRUB depends on the BIOS' disk access
routines and thus on its numbering.
