PC-Batterie tot?

Hallo,

Some time ago the time on my pc began to reset; recently every time I start
it, the BIOS setup screen comes up and I need to move HDD as primary drive
to first position which keeps resetting to floppy every time after shutdown.
Is that a matter of a battery? If so, where will I find it on the
motherboard?

Vielen Dank im Voraus,
Beste Gruesse

Read the manual. Download it from the manufacturer if you don't have it.
If the mainboard isn't too old (=much more than 10 years), it is usually
a battery of type CR2032 (=lithium coin cell with 3 Volt, 210 mAh,
20,0x3,2mm). Here's a picture of one: http://www.reichelt.de/?ARTICLE&550

If you can't find something like this, the battery is integrated
somewhere on the mainboard and hard to replace.
