Hi,

I have a server and whenever i create a folder they get assigned to a
user "messagebus" and have the wrong user rights.
Below is my smb.conf:

server:~ # cat /etc/samba/smb.conf
[global]
workgroup = TUX-NET
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
printcap cache time = 750
cups options = raw
map to guest = Bad User
include = /etc/samba/dhcp.conf
logon path = \\%L\profiles\.msprofile
logon home = \\%L\%U\.9xprofile
logon drive = P:
usershare allow guests = Yes
add machine script = /usr/sbin/useradd  -c
Machine -d /var/lib/nobody -s /bin/false %m$
domain logons = No
domain master = No
security = user

[media]
comment = Media Share
path = /mnt/SafeFiles/media
browseable = yes
writeable = yes
guest ok = yes
create mask = 0777
directory mask = 0777
force create mode = 0777
[data]
comment = Data Share
path = /mnt/SafeFiles/data
browseable = yes
writeable = yes
guest ok = yes
create mask = 0777
directory mask = 0777
force create mode = 0777
# NOTE: If you have a BSD-style print system there is no need to
# specifically define each individual printer
[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
browseable = yes
# Set public = yes to allow user 'guest account' to print
guest ok = yes
writable = no
printable = yes

I mount the shares with:
//192.168.0.2/media /mnt/media cifs users,uid0,gid00
0 0
//192.168.0.2/data /mnt/data cifs users,uid0,gid00
0 0

When i create a folder with user reg, it gets following rights: drwxr-xr-x
the rights when creating a new file get properly set to: -rwxrwxrwx
What is the problem with the folder creation???

Thanks for any help!!!
Ron
