Server 2003

In our office we hav 1 Domain Controller with W2003 and in an additional
Workgroup also a W2003 Server for special purpose as a stand alone Server.
I often have the Problem, that Domain Users can see the Workgroup but cannot
connect to the server, even when they are members of the workgroupserver. It
is for security, that the workgroupserver is not a member of the domain.
Also i have to notice, that we hav splittet our network in two subnets and
the communication between the subnets goes over a router. The domaincontroler
is in subnet 1 and an backupdomaincontroller is in subnet 2. Mostly the users
in subnet 2 have the problem to connect to the workgroupserver. I hope, that
my english is good enough for understanding.

Thanks for sending your answers

Peter
