SMTP Connectors

Hello,

Please, can somebody explain how an exchange 2003 installation can send out
external email to "all" domains when the SMTP Connector i created uses an
address space of "testdomain.com"?
Are "all" outbound emails to different domains than "testdomain.com" sent
out by the virtual smtp service?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Tobias,

It is like you wrote: all but *testdomain.com is routed over the
virtual SMTP-Server itselve - if you are able to sent mails directly
DNS-Settings right, Reversepointer set correctly by ISP, than this
would be fine.

If you donŽt want that, you might create a second Connector with
adress space "*" to sent all other Mails over this Connector with a
Smarthost (or directly by DNS)

regards, Fritz
