First of all you should make sure you have the latest Mobile Connect
Software from Vodafone. Current version is 2.11.07

But the main issue on the Mac then is easy to solve:

The software doesn't recognize the SIM Card as a WebSessions SIM card
and instead configures the modem for a standard 3G connection.

The main window will show "DE Vodafone.de' -
which looks okay, but in fact it is not. You will have to configure the
right connection scheme manually. Go to preferences/Voreinstellungen,
check 'Verbindungseinstellungen manuell auswàhlen'. A list will slide
out. Choose 'DE Vodafone.de WebSessions - (26202)'.
After exiting preferences, the main window will show 'Manuell DE
Vodafone.de WebSessions'.

No you can acitvate the settings and then connect through System/Network
settings.

Plain stupid that Vodafone can't fix this. Support has no clue of this
Mac software issue.
